As Universal’s Senior Vice President for Electric Division, Tim Bunkers is overseeing our electric transmission projects to ensure effective staffing and schedule / budget management activities are being conducted to serve our clients.

Tim is highly skilled in technology applications, database development and use, modern project policies and procedures, and is relentless in finding better ways to get things done. He joined Universal as Project Manager on 500 kV line and 345 kV line projects in 2007 after 25 years of comprehensive and successful experience with MidAmerican Energy Company in Iowa. His work there included serving as an Operations Area Manager, Community Coordinator, Right of Way Agent, and as a Right of Way Project Manager.

Tim is active in the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). He holds the SR/WA Designation and is Certified in Negotiations/Acquisitions. He has served as the President of local Chapter 41 in Iowa and is currently serving on the International Electric Utilities Committee as the Education liaison and the Utilities Representative for Chapter 33.
